Removing or correcting a listing
If you run an agency listed here, you can ask us to correct the record or take it down. You cannot edit it yourself, and here is why.
Why you cannot edit your own page
Directories that let businesses manage their own profiles end up selling that management, and once you can pay to shape how you appear, nothing on the site means anything. We took the other route: nobody can edit these pages, including the agencies on them and including anyone paying us, because nobody is paying us for placement.
What you get instead is a correction channel that we act on, and a removal route that is genuinely available rather than theoretical.
Corrections we will make
- The page is matched to the wrong organisation, or two organisations are merged into one.
- Contact details, city, or website are wrong or out of date.
- The counsellor figures or training details are wrong.
We check every correction before changing anything, so please include something that supports it.
Removal
We will remove an agency listing on request from someone who can show they represent that agency. There is no fee and we will not ask you to buy anything as an alternative.
Two things to understand before you ask:
- Removal is not a way to delete reviews. If a listing carries reviews from people who used your service, removing the page removes their account of it too. We will tell you if that applies, and we will not treat a removal request as a shortcut around a review you dislike. If a specific review is untrue, report that review instead and we will put it through the complaints process.
If you are an individual counsellor
We do not publish the names, email addresses, photographs or social media accounts of individual counsellors anywhere on this site. Agency pages show counts and date ranges only. If you believe you can be personally identified from something here, tell us and treat it as urgent in your message. That would be a bug on our side, not a policy.
How to ask, and how long it takes
Send us the page address and what needs to change. Include something that shows you represent the agency, such as an email from the domain listed on the page.
We aim to acknowledge within five working days and to act within thirty. Removal requests from individuals about personal data are handled faster.
